Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data prahix.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only — not the PrahiX platform as deployed inside a customer's environment, which is governed by that customer's own agreement with us.
Who we are
This website is operated by PrahiX, C-160, Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II, Mayapuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110064, India. For anything in this policy, write to info@prahix.com or call +91-9810399098.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below — meaning we decide why and how it is processed, and we are answerable for it.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small. There are exactly two ways personal data reaches us through this site.
- What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, the subject you select, and your message. All four are required to submit the form; we ask for nothing else, and there are no hidden fields.
- Standard server logs: your IP address, browser user-agent, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are generated automatically by our hosting provider for every visitor to every website, and are used for security and diagnosing faults.
What we do not collect
This site runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, and no session-recording or A/B-testing tool. We do not build a profile of you, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
There is no account to create and no newsletter to subscribe to on this site, so we hold no password and no marketing list gathered from it.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Contact-form data is used for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. That is processing for the specified purpose for which you gave consent when you submitted the form. If your enquiry becomes a commercial conversation, we may keep the correspondence as part of the record of that relationship.
Server logs are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse or errors. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from them.
We will not use your enquiry to send you unrelated marketing. If we ever want to, we will ask you first.
Who else sees it
Your contact-form submission is delivered to a PrahiX inbox by Resend, an email delivery provider, acting as our Data Processor. It passes through their infrastructure in order to reach us. Our website and its database are hosted by Hostinger, and the site's content is managed in a self-hosted CMS on that infrastructure.
Those providers process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. Beyond them, we disclose personal data only where the law requires it — for example, a valid order from a court or a government authority with jurisdiction over us.
Because our email delivery provider operates internationally, your enquiry may be processed on servers outside India in the course of being delivered to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are kept while they are still useful to answer and are then deleted, and in any case no longer than three years from your last contact with us. Correspondence that forms part of a customer or supplier relationship is kept for as long as that relationship lasts and afterwards for the period our tax and contractual record-keeping obligations require.
Server logs are retained on a short rolling window by our hosting provider and are overwritten in the ordinary course.
You can ask us to erase your data sooner — see below.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will respond within a reasonable period:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate, or complete anything that is incomplete or out of date.
- Erase what we hold, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form. Withdrawing it stops any further processing but does not undo what was already done lawfully.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us — and, if we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
How to reach us about your data
Send any request or complaint to info@prahix.com with enough detail for us to find your data — the email address you used and roughly when you contacted us is usually enough. Please put "Privacy request" in the subject line so it is routed correctly.
We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, so that we do not disclose one person's data to another.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the inbox and CMS behind it is restricted to the PrahiX staff who need it. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise — please do not send passwords, network diagrams, credentials or other sensitive operational detail through a website contact form. If you need to share something of that kind, tell us and we will arrange a secure channel.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to info@prahix.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top — 3 August 2026 — is when it was last revised. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you rather than relying on this page alone.
